Name
gzcompress — Compress a string of data using ZLIB
compression.
Synopsis
string gzcompress
(data[, level]);
string data: A string of
data
int level (optional): Level
of compression
Returns
A string of compressed data or FALSE on failure
Description
Compresses a string of data starting with 0 compression
to level 9 compression. The compressed data useing the
ZLIB compression alogrithm, but is not the same as a gzip
file, which has header information.
