Name

readgzfile — Opens and outputs a compressed file.

Synopsis

int readgzfile(File[, use_include_path]);
string File: Filename
int use_include_path (optional): Search the include path for the file

Returns

Number of bytes read or FALSE on error

Description

Opens and outputs a file while decompressing it at the same time. To supress error messages, call this function as @readgzfile. If use_include_path is set to TRUE the function also searches the include path for the file specified.
