sybase_result — Accesses data from a query.

Synopsis

string sybase_result(result, record, field);
int result: Result identifier
int record: Record number
mixed field: Field name or offset

Returns

Field contents or FALSE on error

Description

Returns the contents of a field specified by the field name or field offset in a record set from sybase_query() . Depending on the size of the record set, it may be more efficient to use other row-retrieval functions such as sybase_fetch_row() .
