sybase_close
Name
sybase_close — Closes an open database connection.
Synopsis
bool sybase_close
(conn);
int conn: Connection
ID
Returns
TRUE on success; FALSE on error
Description
Closes a connection to a Sybase server. Connections made
using sybase_pconnect() will not
close when sybase_close() is called, and
connections made using sybase_connect() are
automatically closed when the script finishes. If a
connection was opened with sybase_pconnect() , this
function is not required as the connection is handled by
PHP.
Example
Example 1298. Close server
connection
$db = @sybase_connect("SERVER","DBUSER","DBPASSWD") or die("Unable to connect to server");
sybase_close($db);
