mcal_day_of_week — Returns the day of the week of the given date


int mcal_day_of_week(year, month, day);
int year: The year of the date
int month: The month of the date
int day: The day of the date


An integer from 0 to 6, 0 being Sunday and 6 being Saturday, or -1 on an error


Takes a date, and if it is valid, return the day of the week that it falls on. It will return -1 if the date is invalid.

Example 700. Determine the day of the week that a date falls on

$year = 2002;
$month = MCAL_MAY;
$day = 1;

$dayofweek = mcal_day_of_week($year, $month, $day);
