hw_document_setcontent — Sets the content of a document.

int hw_document_setcontent(doc_id, content);
int doc_id: Document ID of document to modify
string content: New content

TRUE on success; FALSE on error

hw_document_setcontent() sets the content of the document identified by doc_id to the contents of the string content . This doesn't automatically update the document's object on the server. You need to upload the document to the server; for instance, with hw_edittext() .

Any existing content is destroyed.

On failure, this function returns FALSE, and the document is unchanged; otherwise, TRUE is returned.

PHP 4 since 4.0b2

Example 474. Assign new content to a document

$new_content = "This is the new document content.";
if (!hw_document_setcontent($document_id, $new_content)) {
    echo "Could not update the document.\n";
