Name
dbminsert — Inserts a key into a file.
Synopsis
int dbminsert
(identifier, key, value);
int identifier: DBM
identifier
string key: DBM key
string value: Value
Returns
0 on success, -1 if the DBM file is read-only, 1 if the
key already exists
Description
Inserts a key/value pair into the DBM file specified by
dbmopen() . If the
key already exists, the function returns a value of 1 and
no change is made to the key. To replace an existing key
in a DBM file, use dbmreplace() .
