dba_delete

Name

dba_delete — Deletes a key.

Synopsis

bool dba_delete(key, dba_handle);
string key: Key to delete
resource dba_handle: Resource handle opened by dba_open() or dba_popen()

Returns

TRUE if the key was deleted; FALSE otherwise

Description

dba_delete() removes key-value pairs from the db file. If the key-value pair can be removed, the function returns TRUE. If the pair cannot be removed or the key cannot be found, FALSE is returned.
