is 'dig 1.8.3 slower than 'dig 1.8.0

Hi.

I noted that, with the >>>same site<<<, 'dig 1.8.3 takes

twice

the time to spider it. The "Compare Domains" feature is turned off.
Does anyone else experience the same perfomance problem?

Any ideas?

Hi, not sure but this thread seems to say it's faster. As I haven't done reliable benchmarking, I cannot say either way.
