is 'dig 1.8.3 slower than 'dig 1.8.0

I noted that, with the >>>same site<<<, 'dig 1.8.3 takes :angel: twice:angel: the time to spider it. The "Compare Domains" feature is turned off.
Does anyone else experience the same perfomance problem? :banana: :chicken:

Hi, not sure but this thread seems to say it's faster. As I haven't done reliable benchmarking, I cannot say either way.
