swf_addbuttonrecord

Name

swf_addbuttonrecord — Set detail of button active area

Synopsis

void swf_addbuttonrecord(state, id, depth);
int state: Button states
int id: Object identifier
int depth: Depth

Returns

Void

Description

Sets the behaviour and the look of the button as a particular button state. There are four button states which can be used in the state parameter: BSHitTest, BSDown, BSOver or BSUp. These can be combined using the bitwise OR '|'.

The id paramter controls the look of the button and this can be used to display objects from other SWF functions such as swf_defineshape() , swf_definetext() or swf_definebitmap() .

In the example below, the button shape is defined as text and the appearance defined in three seperate states. A second state and appearance is given when the mouse is rolled over the text as defined by BSOver . Finally, a button press is defined using swf_oncondition() .

Version

Existing since version 4.0
