pg_fieldsize

Name

pg_fieldsize — Displays the field size.

Synopsis

int pg_fieldsize(result, field);
int result: Result identifier
string field: Field name

Returns

Field size; FALSE on error

Description

Returns the size of the specified field, in bytes. If a field is of variable size, a field size of 0 is returned.
