Name

ora_columnsize — Gets the size of an Oracle result column.

Synopsis

int ora_columnsize(cursor, column);
resource cursor: Cursor handle
int column: Column number

Returns

Column size; FALSE on error

Description

Returns the column size specified at the column number. Column numbering starts at 0. The column size is either the maximum size of the number that can be stored, in the case of a NUMBER column, or the maximum number of characters that can be stored, in the case of CHAR, VARCHAR, and VARCHAR2 columns.
