debugger_on — Turns on the debugger.

Synopsis

bool debugger_on(address);
string address: Address to use with the debugger

Returns

TRUE on success; FALSE otherwise

Description

Enables the remote PHP debugger and binds it to the specified address. Other settings are available in the php3.ini configuration file.

Warning

The PHP debugger was never fully developed in PHP 3 and is not present in PHP 4. Debuggers do exist for PHP 4 - products are available from Zend (http://www.zend.com) and Dmitri Dmitrienko (http://dd.cron.ru/dbg/).
