Example 594. Decode message body

$imap = imap_open("{localhost}INBOX","graeme","inferno");

//message to get
$message = 7;

// part to get
// this would normally come from imap_fetchstructure
$part = 2;

// fetch the message
$body = imap_fetchbody($imap, $message, $part);

// decode into a binary file
$file = imap_base64($body);

//deduce the file name
$structure = imap_fetchstructure($imap, $message);
$filename = $structure->parts[1]->dparameters[0]->value;

// now write it to disk
$fh = fopen($filename, "w");
fputs($fh, $file);
