Name

ifx_do — Execute a previously prepared SQL-statement

Synopsis

int ifx_do(result);
int result: Result handler

Returns

TRUE on success, FALSE on error

Description

Executes a SQL statement prepared using ifx_prepare() which returns a result handler used as the result parameter.

If the SQL query sent to ifx_prepare is a non-SELECT query, this function also returns the correct number of affected rows, whereas ifx_prepare() only returns an approximate number of affected rows.
