ifx_do — Execute a previously prepared SQL-statement

int ifx_do(result);
int result: Result handler

TRUE on success, FALSE on error

Executes a SQL statement prepared using ifx_prepare() which returns a result handler used as the result parameter.

If the SQL query sent to ifx_prepare is a non-SELECT query, this function also returns the correct number of affected rows, whereas ifx_prepare() only returns an approximate number of affected rows.

Since version 3.0.4 and 4.0

Example 560. Prepare and execute a query

ifx_connect( "stores7@demo_se", "testuser", "password" );
$result = ifx_prepare("DELETE FROM customers WHERE company = 'Widget Corp'", $conn);
