ibase_free_query

ibase_free_query — Free memory used by a query

Synopsis

boolean ibase_free_query(query); resource query: Query handle

Returns

TRUE on success, FALSE on error

Description

Frees memory and other resources associated with the prepared query handle. Since the memory is freed anyway when your script finishes or, in PHP 4, whenever you assign a new prepared query to the variable, although always being good programming practice you should follow, it's not strictly necessary to use this function.
