What is PhpDig?
PhpDig is a PHP MySQL based
Web Spider & Search Engine.

hw_stat — Returns a status string from the server.

string hw_stat(hw_link);
resource hw_link: Connection ID to Hyperwave server

String containing status information; FALSE on error

This function returns a newline-delimited string containing a great deal of status information from the Wavestore server module. The first line of the string returned is simply a header. The rest of the lines are of the format <item_name>=<item_value>. In fact, the structure of the string (aside from the header) is identical to that of an object record.

PHP 3 since 3.0.3, PHP 4

Example 524. Print status information from the Wavestore server

if (!$hw_link = hw_connect('localhost', 418, 'hwsystem', 'hwsystem')) {
    echo "Could not connect to Hyperwave server.\n";
} else {
    echo "Successfully connected with resource id '$hw_link'\n";

echo hw_stat($hw_link);
