hw_new_document_from_file

Name

hw_new_document_from_file — Creates a new document using a file as the content.

Synopsis

int hw_new_document_from_file(object_rec, filename); string object_rec: Object record for the new document string filename: Filename of the file to read as content

Returns

Document ID on success; FALSE on failure

Description

This function is used to create a new Hyperwave document from a file. The object record for the new document is given in object_rec . The name of the file to retrieve as data is given in filename . If PHP has been configured to allow access to remote documents, filename can be a URL and the document can be read (for instance) from a remote HTTP or FTP server.

The document isn't inserted into the Hyperwave server yet; you must do this yourself later using hw_insertdocument() .
