Name

hw_getobjectbyqueryobj — Executes a key query on the database and returns the object records and statistics from matching objects.

Synopsis

array hw_getobjectbyqueryobj(hw_link, query, max_hits);
resource hw_link: Connection ID to Hyperwave server
string query: Search query (key query syntax)
int max_hits: Maximum number of hits to return

Returns

Indexed array of object records; FALSE on error

Description

hw_getobjectbyqueryobj() executes a key query on the whole database and returns an indexed array of the object records of any matching objects. If max_hits is -1all hits are returned; otherwise, max_hits hits are returned.

The last element of the array returned is an associative array containing statistics about the found objects.

If no matching objects are found, the array returned contains only the statistics array.
