Name

hw_getobjectbyftquerycoll — Executes a full-text search on a collection and returns the object IDs of matching objects.

Synopsis

array hw_getobjectbyftquerycoll(hw_link, collection_id, query, max_hits); resource hw_link: Connection ID to Hyperwave server int collection_id: Object ID of collection in which to search string query: Search query (full-text query syntax) int max_hits: Maximum number of hits to return

Returns

Indexed array of object IDs; FALSE on error

Description

hw_getobjectbyftquerycoll() executes a full-text query on the descendants of the collection given by collection_id and returns an indexed array of the object IDs of any matching objects. If max_hits is -1 all hits are returned; otherwise, the search stops after finding max_hits hits.

If no matching objects are found, the empty array is returned.
