hw_getobjectbyftquery

Name

hw_getobjectbyftquery — Executes a full-text search on the whole database and returns the object IDs of matching objects.

Synopsis

array hw_getobjectbyftquery(hw_link, query, max_hits);
resource hw_link: Connection ID to Hyperwave server
string query: Search query (full-text query syntax)
int max_hits: Maximum number of hits to return

Returns

Indexed array of object IDs; FALSE on error

Description

hw_getobjectbyftquery() executes a full-text query on the database and returns an indexed array of the object IDs of any matching objects. If max_hits is -1 all hits are returned; otherwise, the search stops after finding max_hits hits.

If no matching objects are found, the empty array is returned.
