hw_childrenobj

Name

hw_childrenobj — Fetches the object records of an object's children.

Synopsis

array hw_childrenobj(hw_link, object_id);
resource hw_link: Connection ID to the Hyperwave server
int object_id: Object ID of the object to be examined

Returns

Array of child object records; FALSE on error

Description

hw_childrenobj() is used to get object records for all of the children of an object. hw_link is the connection ID to the server on which the object resides, and object_id is the ID of the object whose children you want to obtain.

The child records are returned in an array; all children (collections and documents) of the given object are returned. If you want to retrieve only object records for child collections, use hw_getchildcollobj() ; for child documents, use hw_getchilddoccollobj() .
