Name

imagecolorresolve — Determines the closest color match.

Synopsis

int imagecolorresolve(image, red, green, blue);
int image: Image identifier
int red: Red component
int green: Green component
int blue: Blue component

Returns

Color index

Description

Returns a color the same as - or as close as possible to - the specified color. Unlike imagecolorexact() , but similar to imagecolorclosest() , this function always returns a color, even if the color returned is not at all similar to the RGB values specified. The function will move through the color palette of the image until it finds a close match, which may not be close at all.
