ftp_delete

Name

ftp_delete — Deletes a file from the FTP server.

Synopsis

bool ftp_delete(, );
: FTP stream
: File to delete

Returns

TRUE on success or FALSE on error

Description

This function sends a "DELE" command to the server, the user must have remove permissions on the FTP server for this function to work.

PHP 3>= 3.0.13, PHP 4 >= 4.0b4
