ftp_connect

Name

ftp_connect — Opens an FTP connection.

Synopsis

int ftp_connect([, ]);
: The location of the FTP server
(optional): FTP server port

Returns

Description

Opens a socket connection with the server. The default FTP port, 21, will be used if one is not specified. The specified server can be either an IP address or a domain address.
