filepro_fieldwidth — Finds the maximum width for a FilePro field.


integer filepro_fieldwidth(field_offset);
integer field_offset: Field offset


The width of a specified field; FALSE on error


filepro_fieldwidth() returns the maximum width of the specified field. If the specified field doesn't exist, the function returns FALSE and generates a warning-level error.


Example 295. Display the width for the specified field

// Show the name and width for the second field
$offset = 1;
echo 'Field ', filepro_fieldname ($offset), ' has a width of ', filepro_fieldwidth ($offset), '.';
