domxml_new_xmldoc

Name

domxml_new_xmldoc — Creates a new xmldoc.

Synopsis

object domxml_new_xmldoc(version); string version: version of the XML document

Returns

A Document object on success or FALSE on error.

Description

Creates an xml document with the <?xml version=" version "> tag in it. A string representing an XML document should not be passed into this function. This function is usually used to create a new XML document from scratch. This functions alias is new_xmldoc(string version)() .
