domxml_new_child

Name

domxml_new_child — Creates a new child node in the document.

Synopsis

object domxml_new_child(parentNode, name, content);
object parentNode: A reference to a Node object
string name: The name of the tag to create
string content: The data to be put inside the tag

Returns

A Node object on success or FALSE on error.

Description

A new node is inserted into the document with name for its tag and content as its data. The node is inserted under it's parentNode . The Node object alias prototype is object new_child(string name, string content)() .
