dbase_open — Opens a dbf file for read, write, or read/write operations.


int dbase_open(filename, mode);
string filename: dbf filename
int mode: dbf file mode


dbf identifier; FALSE on error


dbase_open() opens a dbf file of the specified name and returns an identifer for use with other dbf functions. The dbf file can be opened in one of three modes: read, write, or read/write.
