dba_sync — Synchronizes a database.
TRUE on success; FALSE on failure
dba_sync() calls the handler database's
synchronize functionality. Synching is generally used to
force any changes to a database to be written to disk.
Not all databases have or need this feature. Consult your
database documentation for more details. As a friend
noted when reading this writeup, calling
dba_sync() is very much like performing a COMMIT
with a database that supports transactions.
PHP Version: 3.0.8+, 4.0b2+
Example 221. Sync a db
or die ("The database could not be synchronized.");
