com_load — Loads and initializes a COM object.

int com_load

string component: Name of
component to load
Returns
COM resource identifier, FALSE on failure
Description
Loads and initializes a COM object. Returns an identifier
that's used in other COM functions. To load a COM object,
it must first be registered using regsvr32.exe on
Microsoft Windows platforms. If you're using a
preexisting or commercial COM object, this is usually
done automatically. The code in the following example
would be written as 'set com =
Server.CreateObject("ObjectName.ClassName")' in ASP.
