com_invoke

Name

com_invoke — Invokes the method in the COM object and returns the output or FALSE on error.

Synopsis

mixed com_invoke(identifier, method_name[, . . .]);
resource identifier: Identifier created from com_load()
string method_name: Name of method to call
mixed . . . (optional): function parameters

Returns

Target function's return value; FALSE on error

Description

Invokes a method in the loaded COM object. The code in the following example would be written as 'com.DoFunction(functionval)' in ASP.
