returning search results in categories ~

I have installed and configured PHPdig and so far it has worked great, very easy to use, configure, etc...

I am having difficulty understanding how I can categorically format search results based on meta tags. For example: I am developing a website where I have a few different types of content. I would like to display the results of a search to by content-type (articles, documents, etc.).

Does PHPdig accomodate this type of functionality? Many thanks for any information about how I may do this...

Welcome to the forum, jeremiah. :D

PhpDig won't show you results by category unless you have those categories separated by directory. This thread (http://www.phpdig.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=363&highlight=directory) will give you some specifics on how to setup spidering and searches by directory.
