odbc_gettypeinfo

Name

odbc_gettypeinfo — Displays data type information.

Synopsis

resource odbc_gettypeinfo(conn[, data type]);
resource conn: Connection ID
int data type (optional): Data type

Returns

Result identifier or FALSE on error

Description

Displays all information on a supported data type from the ODBC provider. If the optional data type is not specified, all data types are displayed. A number of columns are returned by this function. Using odbc_result_all() to display the results from this function is an excellent way to review the results returned, as well as getting an overview of the supported data types.
