strtoupper — Convert a string to uppercase.

Uppercase string

Description

strtoupper() converts all lowercase alphabetical characters within a string to their uppercase equivalents.

Note

The conversion from lowercase to uppercase is dependent upon the current locale. Use setlocale() to set or query the locale.
