shm_put_var
Name
shm_put_var — Stores a value and its key in shared
memory.
Synopsis
bool shm_put_var
(shm_id, variable_key, value);
int shm_id: ID of a shared
memory segment
int variable_key: Key number
by which to store the variable
mixed value: Value to
store
Returns
TRUE on success; FALSE on failure
Description
shm_put_var() stores the value given by value with the key given by variable_key in the shared memory
segment identified by shm_id .
variable_key must be an
integer or evaluate to an integer. If shm_id is not a valid identifier as
returned by shm_attach() , or if there
is not enough space left in the shared memory segment,
FALSE is returned and the variable is not stored.
