Name

posix_getcwd — Get working directory pathname (POSIX.1, 5.2.2)

Synopsis

string posix_getcwd(void)

Returns

The name of the current working directory, or FALSE on error.

Description

This function returns the current working directory for the PHP process. Errors (for instance, if the current directory is not readable) will result in a FALSE being returned.
