pdf_begin_patternDescriptionStarts a pattern definition which cab be used to to fill or stroke objects instead of a color. The function returns a pattern identifier which is used in pdf_setcolor() to set the fill and/or stroke of an object to the defined pattern. Note that the pattern definition must be before pdf_begin_page() . Normally. applications set xstep and ystep to width and height of the pattern so results may vary slightly from application to application. If painttype is 1, then the pattern must contain it's own color specification which also allows more freedom since you can use functions like pdf_setcolor() in the pattern definition itself. However, you cannot load images to use in the pattern. If painttype is 2 then the current fill or stroke color is applied to the object. ExampleExample 916. Create two fill patterns <?php $pdf = pdf_new(); pdf_open_file($pdf); // create first pattern $pattern1 = pdf_begin_pattern($pdf, 20, 20, 10, 10, 2); pdf_circle($pdf, 10,10,10); pdf_stroke($pdf); pdf_end_pattern($pdf); // defined second pattern with own colorspace $pattern2 = pdf_begin_pattern($pdf, 20, 20, 10, 10, 1); pdf_setcolor($pdf, "stroke", "rgb", 0.9, 0.1, 0.1, 0.0); pdf_circle($pdf, 7, 7, 5); pdf_stroke($pdf); pdf_setcolor($pdf, "stroke", "rgb", 0.1, 0.9, 0.9, 0.0); pdf_circle($pdf, 5, 5, 10); pdf_stroke($pdf); pdf_end_pattern($pdf); pdf_begin_page($pdf, 500, 700); // set color to the first pattern pdf_setcolor($pdf, "fill", "pattern", $pattern1, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0); pdf_rect($pdf, 30, 640, 180, 30); pdf_fill($pdf); // set color to the second pattern pdf_setcolor($pdf, "fill", "pattern", $pattern2, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0); pdf_rect($pdf, 30, 500, 350, 100); pdf_fill($pdf); pdf_end_page($pdf); pdf_close($pdf); // display the PDF document $data = pdf_get_buffer($pdf); header("Content-type: application/pdf"); header("Content-disposition: inline; filename=test.pdf"); header("Content-length: " . strlen($data)); echo $data; ?>
