Name

ora_numrows — Returns the number of rows in a result.

Synopsis

int ora_numrows(cursor);
resource cursor: Cursor handle

Returns

Number of rows; FALSE on error

Description

Returns the number of rows in a result set. Note that, while it may appear possible to use this function after ora_parse() and before ora_execute() , the function returns the row count only if used after ora_execute() .

Note

As of versions 3.0 and 4.0
