ociexecute — Execute a parsed statement

Synopsis

int ociexecute(stmt[, mode]);
int stmt: Statement handler
int mode (optional): Execution mode

Returns

TRUE on success or FALSE on error

Description

Executes a parsed statement using a statement handle returned from ociparse() . mode can either OCI_COMMIT_ON_SUCCESS or OCI_DEFAULT. By default, mode is OCI_COMMIT_ON_SUCCESS which means all statements are committed by default. Using OCI_DEFAULT means that all queries must be manually comitted.
