mcal_event_set_start

Name

mcal_event_set_start — Attach a start date and time to the stream's global event

Synopsis

void mcal_event_set_start(MCALconnection, year, month, day[, hour][, min][, sec]);
int MCALconnection: An open MCAL connection
int year: The year the event starts
int month: The month the event starts
int day: The day on which the event starts
int hour (optional): The hour the event starts
int min (optional): The minute on which the event starts
int sec (optional): The seconds value on which the event starts

Returns

FALSE on error, otherwise NULL

Description

This function sets the date and time at which an event starts. The date set here is also the date that any recurrences will begin, if the event recurs. Invalid date or time data will be ignored and not stored in the event structure.
