mcal_create_calendar

Name

mcal_create_calendar — Creates a new calendar

Synopsis

bool mcal_create_calendar(MCALconnection, calendar);
int MCALconnection: An open MCAL connection
string calendar: The name of the calendar to create.

Returns

TRUE on success, FALSE on failure

Description

There is no need for this function with the mstore driver, as calendars are created on the fly as needed. Therefore it returns TRUE as long as you pass it a valid MCAL connection. However, in the future, as the ICAP driver comes into wider use and other drivers are added to libmcal, the implementation will be fleshed out.

Version

PHP 3 since 3.0.13, PHP 4 since 4.0b4

Example

Example 697. Create a new calendar

$calendar = "{/mstore}";
$MCALconnection = mcal_open($calendar, "username", "password");
mcal_create_calendar($MCALconnection, "new_calendar");
