imap_reopen — Reopen a stream to a new mailbox

Synopsis

bool map_reopen(connection, mailbox[, flags]);
int connection: IMAP connection ID
string mailbox: Mailbox
int flags (optional): Connection options

Returns

TRUE on success; FALSE on error

Description

Reopens a connection to a new mailbox using the current IMAP connection identifier. If the connection is to an NNTP server then a new news group is opened instead.

flags can be a bitmask of the following:

OP_READONLY Open mailbox read-only
OP_ANONYMOUS Don't use of update a .newrc if using an NNTP connection
OP_HALFOPEN Open a connection but do not open a mailbox. Applies only to IMAP and NNTP
CL_EXPUNGE Automatically expunge mailbox when closed.
