imap_num_msg

Name

imap_num_msg — Returns the number of messages in the mailbox

Synopsis

int imap_num_msg(connection);
int connection: IMAP connection ID

Returns

Number of messages in mailbox; FALSE on error

Description

imap_num_msg() returns the number of messages in the currently open mailbox. This can be used for looping through each message in the mailbox in turn so some individual action can be performed.
