ifx_get_blob

Name

ifx_get_blob — Return the content of a blob object

Synopsis

ifx_get_blob(object); int object: BLOB object identifier

Returns

BLOB contents or FALSE on error

Description

Returns the content of the blob object for the given blob object identifier object . Dpepending on how the BLOB file was stored using ifx_createblob() , the data returned will either be the BLOB data itself or a pointer to the file containg the BLOB data. See ifx_create_blob() for information on BLOB modes.

To set the default mode of a BLOB returned from a SELECT statement, use ifx_blobinfile_mode() .
