ifx_free_result — Frees memory associated with a result set

int ifx_free_result(result);
int result: Result handler

TRUE on success, FALSE on error

Frees memory associated with a result set. Since memory is freed at script termination, this only needs to be used if you are using large queries.

Since version 3.0.3 and 4.0

Example 569. Free a query result

ifx_connect( "stores7@demo_se", "testuser", "password" );
$result = ifx_query("SELECT customer_num, company FROM customer", $conn);
printf("Found %d records", ifx_affected_rows($result));
