Name

ifx_byteasvarchar — Sets the default byte mode for all SELECT queries

Synopsis

void ifx_byteasvarchar(mode);
int mode: Byte mode

Returns

Void

Description

Sets the default byte mode for all SELECT queries.

Seting mode to 0 will return a blob identifier. Setting mode to 1 will return a varchar with byte content.

This setting can also be hard coded in the PHP initialisation file.
