hw_identify
Name
hw_identify — Authenticates the current connection
using a different username.
Synopsis
string hw_identify
(hw_link, username, password);
resource hw_link: Connection
ID to Hyperwave server
string username: Hyperwave
user name of the user to authenticate as
string password: Password
for this user
Returns
String containing information about the login; FALSE on
error
Description
This function allows you to change the user account
information for a Hyperwave server connection. If the
authentication is successful, a string containing the
user's object ID (user accounts are Hyperwave objects)
and username, separated by a single whitespace, is
returned. If the username doesn't match that of any known
user, the string returned is 0x00000000
anonymous, and the connection reverts to anonymous
status.
