imagettfbbox — Determines the coordinates around some text.

Synopsis

array imagettfbbox(size, angle, font, text); int size: Font size int angle: Angle of rotation string font: TrueType font file string text: Text to draw

Returns

Bounding-box coordinates

Description

Returns an eight-element array, consisting of the x and y coordinates of the bounding box (the rectangle enclosing the rendered text) of the specified text. The coordinates are independent of the angle of rotation of the text. Thus, if the image is rotated, the coordinates are taken as the upper-left corner of the box around the text relevant to the text, not the upper-left corner of the rotated string. The elements of the array are arranged as shown in the following table.

3	lower-right corner, y position
4	upper-right corner, x position
5	upper-right corner, y position
6	upper-left corner, x position
7	upper-left corner, y position
